Our operation is focused on sustainability. This primarily means concern for protecting the environment and maximising the energy-performance of our houses and other buildings. We ensure sustainable construction through numerous approaches and solutions, which we determine together with you during the planning phase
Nearly Zero-Energy Houses
In 2020, the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive enters into force, the intention of which is primarily to reduce harmful emissions into the atmosphere and to increase energy performance and the use of renewable sources. From the next year on, the construction of nearly zero-energy buildings will be mandatory for all types of new buildings. At Rihter, we have been building in compliance with or even above the prescribed standards of this Directive for many years. All our construction systems are classified as nearly zero-energy buildings.
Through the years of development, hard work, and an enormous amount of effort, we have developed excellent technological solutions, which the house requires in order to achieve the highest level of energy performance, and to ensure comfortable living during its long life cycle. We pay special attention to all the elements of the house that are essential for meeting the highest quality standard of prefabricated houses.
Builders’ Joinery and Shading
Builders’ joinery is a very important part of constructing high quality prefabricated buildings with excellent insulation. In the past, this was considered a weak link in the building’s thermal envelope. With the development of manufacturing technology, builders’ joinery has adopted a completely new meaning in an energy-efficient construction.
Heating, Cooling, Ventilation
The heating and cooling of the house or “comfortable living” is the main source of energy consumption in the building. Energy is used to ensure a favourable climate in the living areas. By improving thermal retention, specific heat losses are also reduced.
Although the consumption of electricity in passive and low-energy houses is extremely low, some electricity costs are nevertheless incurred. You still have to pay the electricity bill for the energy consumed by the heat pump, refrigerator, freezer, washing machine, or charging station of your electric car, which will become more widely used in the future.
Managing the prefabricated house with smart installations is even more automated and controlled. They are very easy to use and manage, and they provide additional comfort to the user.
By using only carefully selected materials, we at Rihter ensure the quality of our and your houses from the start of construction to the final works. Thus, we ensure safe construction, high-quality built-in boards, efficient facade, flawless roofing and tinplate works, and modern builders’ joinery.
